Zaruhi babayan biography of mahatma

Zaruhi Babayan was born in 1975, in Yerevan, Armenia.
Her path of singing art started in 1987 in the Jazz-pop choir of the H. Igityan Aesthetic Centre, in which she participated as a soloist in many contest-festivals and won the best prizes.
1992-1997 she studied and graduated from the Biological Faculty of the State Pedagogical University named after Kh.

Abovyan.
2000-2003 she studied and graduated from the Jazz Faculty of the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan.
Since 1993, she has been working as a soloist in the State Song Theatre.
Since 1994, she had a combined job of a group leader of “Vaghordyan Katilner” and “Jazzle” teenage variety groups of the Aesthetic Centre.

Since 1995, she has been having solo concerts in the State Song Theatre and she had a touring concert in USA, England, Russia and all the regions of Armenia.
In 2000, she won the first prize of the Lyric Genre in the “Sayat-Nova” contest.
